Chris, at
Organic Matter, recently posted a brief, but
excellent critique of the
Clear Skies iniative. He
includes a table that highlights the emissions cap differences between Clear Skies and the
existing Clean Air Act. While the ideas and numbers aren't new, I recommend his post to any who are still confused or curious.

Thanks for the mojo - I credit my cited resources rather than any particular insight on my part. And I'll add the same call here that I include at the tail end of my post at OM - if anyone out there has solid numbers for the EPA's new regulations, I'd love to see them. I can't imagine that these new rules are anything less than the EPA pushing through sections of Clear Skies even though it died in committee, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
