A child of the South, I miss the fluctuating drone of cicadas during the spring and summer months. Yet I take some solace when a startling crush of thunder sets off all the car alarms in Astoria.
You know, I was thinking about your art a lot yesterday as I was looking at the artwork of George Boorujy (currently on at Staten Island's Snug Harbor). I think he has similar sentiments that he employs while working on his artwork as you do. The parallels are good and I enjoyed it very much. I hope you get to go to the collection up at Staten Island. Someday maybe we will see the two of you juxtaposing your works together...

Chris,
Nice sentiment.

Cicada:
Yay, indeed.
Sunil:
I like Boorujy's work a lot. Perhaps one day we will land in a show together, as you suggest.
