Posting Notice

View of Looking Glass Island; Heron's Foot, Eastern Shore of Virginia; November 2007

HH posts may be infrequent through mid-January. A few art write-ups are likely and a post about my Thanksgiving visit to the Eastern Shore of Virginia is forthcoming, but I'm back-logged in the studio and at the day job.

Plus, December means you're expected to drink mulled wine or spiked eggnog every other night, write three dozen greeting cards, wrap presents, stand in long lines at the USPS, and so on. I enjoy the season immensely, but I could do without those associated torments.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving (or long weekend if you don't celebrate the holiday).

C.R., I had the pleasure of seeing some of your homestate recently-- the Shenandoah mountains and western area of the WV/VA border.

God, was the best rejuvenation ever.

Harpers Ferry, WV-- and then Seneca Rocks as well.

Hope you enjoyed your T-Day as well!

Will be in touch shortly re: the show dropoff.

Will miss your posts.

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you. Sorry to read you won't be around much but it's definitely understandable, especially the eggnog part ;-)
Eastern Shore is beautiful. I used to live on the other end in the Shenendoah Valley; Virginia is a beautiful place.

Hope you don't mind if I spike the mulled wine a bit, also if I indulge in it roughly on a nightly basis, sometimes multiple times on any given night.

Cheers, Hungry! Keep 'em safe and warm and dry and well fed over there and have yourself a fabulous holiday season!

Looking forward to your Thanksgiving post, especially because I had to cancel my own trip down to Virginia for the holiday. Inquiring minds would love to see what you're up to in the studio these days...

Oly:

Yeah, Virginia is a nice state in terms of geographic and ecological diversity. I like the Shenandoah region myself. Harper's Ferry, WV, is a helluva beautiful town.

My stomping grounds look quite different, though, over on the coast.

Tree:

Shenandoah again. All you Shenandoah lovers. Long live Mountain Mama.

Bill:

That sounds like a good plan of action!

Amy:

I'm sorry that you had to cancel the trip.

As for the studio goings on, inquiring minds may have to wait a bit longer. I'm excited about the progress, but still in an uncertain place.

Happy holidays to you all!
