Although I second Bill Gusky's observation that these sorts of psychology "quizzes" are little more than fun time wasters, I did enjoy this one. Somehow, it's nice to know that I'm a "spiritual" person, if only because I so shrink and hiss at the mere mention of the modifier.
You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

Since you're uncomfortable with it, we suspect you might be "spiritual" in the same way we are...Maybe this would be of interest?

interesting quiz, Cultural Creative 81%, Romanticist 44%.
I must say that 44% is a disturbing number, yes I know it's only a quiz - but how could you, mr. intellect, score higher?
To prove you are worthy of the 56% allow yourself to write about your paintings in a less sterile tongue. It is hard to believe the author of this blog is the same person who painted "this now, like the beginning, again and again". That vagina deserves more...

Dilettanteventures:

Thanks for the tip. Robert C. Solomon sounds like a curious read.

Cath:

I can't really defend my 56% Romantic score here, certainly without your knowing me, but I'm glad you like the painting.

As for my "sterile tongue," I can assure you that my GP warns me otherwise and, what's more, I think the push-pull conflict between staid intellectualism/materialism (in terms of rationality, not commodity) and excited emotionalism is central to my make-up. You're probably stuck with formal writing for the long haul, babe. Take it or leave it.
