It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of limited edition prints of two of my 2008 drawings, "further murmuration" and "Synesthesia #1." I worked with the terrific printer Gabe Greenberg, of Greenberg Editions, to produce the prints. I'm thrilled with the handsome results.

View more detailed photographs of the prints here and here.

In accordance with my charitable sales model, 50% of every print sale will be donated to one of the four non-profit organizations I am currently partnered with. For more information on how this works, please visit the charitable sales model page of my website.

Pretty cool, congrats. Like I said, books are in your future. Think Max Ernst. Or even Matisse.
When you leaving for the prairie?

Donald:
Thank you, Donald.

I don't leave for the prairie until September. I head south to Florida for some bumming about in the panhandle in a couple of weeks.

I hope that you're flourishing.

Doing well, about to send a proposal to the Vatican. I had written six months ago with three images, a religious themed triptych, a Judgment scene. Archbisop seemed to like it, went to his secretary in charge of the Venice Biennale, but have heard from him, you know how art grads are :)

Designed a Judgment chapel, easy to build and tear down and reassemble if needed. With John Coltrane's A Love Supreme playing, two acts inside, two out. With a courtyard for waiting, a small 28'x28' chapel, personal Judgment, responsibility. Will see how it is felt by ArchBishop Ravasi. The wife did a great job putting it together as a pdf.

have fun, be good.

Brian has a thread about this same thing, writing proposals so sent it to him, for for some strange reason ran over his limitation of words, we know how laconic I am about that.:) Sent it in three parts, tell me how it reads to you if he posts it.

got the three studies up on myartspace profile, but did change them all some, and white one wil be in the middle 7' high each. I told myself no more large paitngs til I sold the ones I still got, difficult, sell the smaller(under 5')but circumstances made me do it, back to nudes again now that i am finally done with all of it, wil ahve to wait and see.

Let me know, I can send the pdf of the chapel designs if you like, wife did a good job.

I'll look out for the proposal on Brian's blog.

I checked out the studies on MyArtSpace. Not surprisingly, I'm partial to the two more abstract, cacophonous and rapturous panels. ;)

Good luck!

Yeah, the white one is to bring them together, a brown Yeshua in open embrace over an altar, with Trial and Doom to the sides 7' tall. Two horizontals are also in it, both based on Coltane's music 10' wide, and an 8' round Angels Dance, nude women, with no details, will have to see how that plays in the Vatican.

Just sent it to Archbishop Ravasi, will see what happens, but if he is going through the indredible decadence and absurdity of the Venice Biennale right now, and see the complete absence of god in contemporary work, he has to jump on it.

Brian posted the letter explanation, have Art and Purpose essay attached up on my blog. It is in gods hands. As sallamum alaikum, in the words of our great new President, and the Prophet. And wa alaikum asallam in goodbye, which is a contraction for god bless ye. As adios is for via con dios, go with god. True religion is about internal peace, ballance, love, gods peace.

Not of this world, which all religous founders recognize as impossible. Mans heart is not at peace, never will be, so we who seek it must constantly strive to find it first for ourselves, then offer it to humanity to find the peace of the soul for mankind, we can but try, and must. It is not about an afterlife, a reward, it is about being of gods will here on earth. And just maybe, he will let some in the club. Not our decision, we will be Judged first.
